Music and the Violin |

Students will learn to read music and play the violin in
a class setting, preparing the way for future private lessons.
An
additional $5 per month tuition is needed to accommodate costs for this

World Music/ Create Music (5-9) |
(Ages 5-9)
Capture your child's imagination with music from cultures around the world. Your child will sing, listen, move and play instruments, such as glockenspiels and xylophones from the Orff system. They will even make their own instruments and explore the ways that musical sounds are made.
This class introduces your child both to the recorder
and to our extensive set of Orff instruments (various sizes of
glockenspiel and xylophone) Children will learn to read music and play
together, while also being exposed to music from different time
periods. More importantly, they will learn to love making music
together!

This class introduces your child to singing traditional children's classical and folk music in a choir and playing recorder and Orff percussion instruments including glockenspiels and xylophones. Children will learn to read music, play and sing together, while also being exposed to music from different time periods. More importantly, they will learn to love making music together!
