Musical Theater, Drama, and Backstage give your dramatic child the training, focus and outlet that he or she absolutely needs! These elements of the arts challenge and develop the child who has that creative bent, and training in these areas at DaySpring brings the much needed self-control and discipline. We set high standards for the students and assist them as they reach for their goals. Along with gaining important theatrical and performance skills and experience, many character traits and life skills are learned. They develop pride in their accomplishments, at the same time having been taught humility by encouraging and supporting one another. They develop self confidence to present themselves in the theater or on the stage of life. They learn to prepare themselves and to be responsible from the beginning to the culmination of a project; while learning to focus, listen, watch and think, probably the most important and far reaching characteristic.
